Was There An On-Site Evaluation?
Yes, Jessica was a new Pool Fence Oklahoma customer. She had an evaluation done on February 13, 2019, and the installation was completed on 3/8/19.
What Was the Scope of Work?
For this installation, the job was for a single-family home located inside of a gated community. The family already has one small child under the age of two and another baby on the way. Jessica needed this pool fence as an upscale addition to their infinity pool, which was overlooking a large pond. The pool was surrounded by decking that was made of 2 ½ foot square concrete pieces and astroturf between the concrete squares. To install the fence we used a hollow piece of 20″ pipe, which we pounded into the ground. Then we placed a plastic sleeve into the pipe and inserted the fence pole into the sleeve. We then used our termination pole to secure the end of the fence at both ends of the pool.
Type of Fence Installed
For this installation, we installed 165 feet of our Solid Reinforce Pole, which has a bending/breaking point of 95-135 lbs. The family chose to go with a black mesh fence, with black poles, and since the fence was going directly into the ground they decided to use the fence as a gate opening.
Were There Anything Challenging or Unique About This Job?
One of the unique challenges of this particular installation was that we had to place the 20″ pipe through the astroturf, into the dirt underneath. We also had to ensure the fence and poles were installed at the correct angle on the pipe in certain areas and not only along the straight areas of the fence, especially at the corners.
How Did You Resolve Those Challenges?
To resolve these challenges our installers took great care in placing the pipe into the ground to get the correct angle, to ensure the Life Saver Pool Fence would function as it is supposed to. Additionally, since the fence is based on tension, we were able to get the required tension by drilling the holes, in concrete deckings at a slightly different angle depending on where we are around the pool. Getting the correct angle going into dirt and/or grass is a bit of a challenge to get the right angle so the fence will result in the correct amount of tension.
What Are Some of the Unique Benefits of Using the Types of Equipment On This Installation?
Life Saver Pool Fence has the strongest poles in the industry with a bending breaking point of 95- 135 lbs. Life Saver Pool Fence offers a Lifetime Guarantee on all components of the fence, even pole breakage. In the event that a pole breaks, we will replace the broken pole.
